For athletes

You can be the best player in the gym and still not be eligible.

Nobody tells you this at 15. Your transcript GPA is not the number colleges use — the NCAA rebuilds it from 16 specific courses, on an unweighted scale, and ten of them are locked in before senior year even starts. Most athletes find that out too late to fix it. This shows you the real number now, while you can still move it.

01What you get

Four things, and each one is a page you can open right now.

02How it goes

01

Enter your courses

Not a guess at your GPA — the actual classes on your transcript. Takes about two minutes.

02

Read the verdict

D1, D2, D3 and NAIA, each answered separately, with the specific gap named if there is one.

03

Work the plan

The semester in front of you, broken into what moves the number most. Then keep the tracker honest every marking period.

03The thing everyone gets wrong

"I just need a good SAT score to get in."

The NCAA dropped the test-score requirement for D1 and D2 in 2023 — it is core GPA only now. Your scores still matter enormously for admission and for scholarship money, which is why the tests are here. They are just not what makes you eligible.

Find out where you actually stand.

The eligibility check is free and takes about two minutes. No card, and we will never sell you a warning — if something is wrong, you find that out for nothing.
